Korobosea International School

                                                   
Korobosea International School operates as a Year 3 to Year 8 school.  Together with Boroko East and Port Moresby International School, Korobosea offers a clear pathway for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

 Korobosea has well developed facilities including a swimming pool, ovals, a hardcourt, Library and spacious classrooms.  There are high levels of computer technology including Interactive Whiteboards, laptops, wireless and classroom computers.

 Korobosea International School implements the International Education Agency’s curriculum.  The IEA provides support to schools through its Centre for Professional Development’s training programs.  The IEA certifies teachers to work within its system.  All schools engage in regular performance reviews.

 At present Korobosea operates four classes to each grade from Grade 3 to 6.  We also operate a Middle School for Years 7 and 8.  The Middle School is housed in separate buildings that include specialist rooms.  The Middle School employs qualified High School trained teachers in each subject area.

Boroko East International School 

            

Boroko East International School offers world-class international education from Early Childhood (3 years of age) to Grade 2.  The emphasis in these early years is developmentally appropriate education which is fun, builds the foundations of reading, writing and numeracy and gives children the right start.

Boroko East currently operates five classes at each grade level.  We have excellent facilities including a purpose-built Early Childhood Centre, swimming pool, computers in each class, ovals, hard court, hall, information centre, specialist music room, a technology room and attractive, spacious classrooms.

We provide a warm and caring atmosphere in which teachers respond positively to student’s efforts.  Opportunities are provided for children to engage in all aspects of literacy and numeracy throughout the school day.  We also develop children’s creativity and provide opportunities for art, dance, music, swimming and sport.  People’s cultures and valued and celebrated and we encourage and strong partnership between the family and school.
